  Executive coaching

Albert Sweitzer said “the tragedy of life is what dies inside a man while he lives”. At PDD Innovation we strongly focus on increasing self-awareness in order to rediscover a sense of meaning and purpose in individuals’ working lives. People need to be equipped and accountable for their own motivation and direction in life. We will assist in identifying and attaining individual aims and goals by means of individual or group coaching. Organisations may prefer to focus at an individual coaching level for various reasons, i.e. increasing individual effectiveness, understanding change, addressing specific managerial issues, career counselling, development etc. Various tools and techniques are utilized to increase self-awareness and understanding as well as generate methods of attaining the desired outcomes.

Our process will typically be as follows:

Step 1:  Organisational aim of the program:  For the process to be effective, we ensure a sound understanding of the specific aims from an organisational/individual perspective.  This is crucial to ensure that the objectives are met in the longer term.

Step 2:  Individual profiles:
By an agreed upon process, individual areas of strengths and development will be identified, within the context of business needs.  Should any information be available from previous assessments or evaluations, it will be beneficial if this could be made available.

Step 2:  Agreement on goal/focus
The first discussion will be focussed on exploring what the focus for the sessions is.  Strengths and areas of development will be explored and feedback be given of assessments, if any have been done.

Step 3:  Executive coaching sessions:
Coaching discussions are scheduled based on the specific needs of the individual.  This normally ranges from one to two discussions per month. The coaching session is approximately 120 minutes, of duration.  Information that could be of assistance will be provided, i.e. articles, models.  Where required, the service of telephonic discussions is available in between discussions.

Step 4:  Evaluation and review
The process is reviewed after 4 months to ensure that aims are being met and progress is being made to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us?
are tiny matters compared with what lies within us.”
